After School Frozen Yogurt Berry Bites Easy No-Bake Snack Recipe

  • Author: Grace
  • Total Time: 4 hours 10 minutes to 6 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 12 bites 1x

Description

A simple, no-bake frozen yogurt and berry snack that’s healthy, kid-approved, and perfect for after school. These bite-sized treats are easy to make, freezer-friendly, and customizable.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup (150 g) mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries; fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey (or maple syrup as alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, shredded coconut, granola

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. If using fresh berries, rinse and pat dry. Chop larger berries like strawberries into small pieces. If using frozen berries, stir to break up clumps.
  3. Using a spoon, dollop about 1 tablespoon of the yogurt mixture into each mini muffin cup.
  4. Press a few berries into the yogurt and top with a bit more yogurt to partially cover them. Do not overfill.
  5. Sprinkle optional toppings like chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or granola on top if desired.
  6. Cover the muffin tin with plastic wrap or a lid and freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight until solid.
  7. Once frozen, pop the bites out of the tin and store in a freezer-safe bag or container.
  8. Serve frozen or slightly thawed, about 5 minutes before eating for best texture.

Notes

Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creamier texture. Let yogurt come to room temperature before mixing for best honey blending. Press berries gently to avoid mushy bites. Silicone molds make popping out easier. Freeze overnight for best shape. Add crunchy toppings just before eating to avoid sogginess. For dairy-free, use coconut or almond milk yogurt and maple syrup instead of honey.
